Why Should Your Customers Buy A Double R Trailer? Here are some sales tips to help you seal your next deal : The construction of a Double R Trailers is unlike anything else built in the Northwest. Each Double R trailer body is hand built, not assembled on an assembly line. This method ensures the highest level of quality and consistency. Expert welders are able to tie the walls right into the frame as the trailer is built. The uni-body construction adds strength and durability to every trailer built
Double R Trailer uses no fiberglass. For the safety and protection of your horses the roof and nose are either all steel or aluminum skin. A fiberglass roof is not nearly as durable as a steel roof. Fiberglass tends to crack and break from the stress that a roof structure goes through under normal wear. Fiberglas noses and roof are cost saving short cuts that do not belong on a horse trailer.
The high gloss of a Double R trailer is a lengthy process and one good reason for our success. A multi-step preparation process is the key to the impressive finish. This system will give many years of satisfaction to the trailer owner. Surface preparation starts with the trailer being washed with a mild detergent solution that removes oil, tar, grease and other contaminants. This vital process allows for the strong adherence of undercoats and primers to occur. The trailer is then caulked.
We then apply PPG 2-part corrosion and rust resistant primer. The primer not only provides corrosion protection but also a tough shell to protect the metal. In addition to using the best painting products, the paint technicians at Double R are some of the finest technicians in the trailer business today.
